We were so incredibly honoured to welcome the founders of The Daisy Foundation, Mark and Bonnie Barnes, alongside CEO Deb Zimmermann, Vice President Tena Barnes Carraher and foundation member Gary Zimmermann to Hermitage Clinic recently. We are proud to be the only private hospital in Ireland recognising nurses with these prestigious DAISY awards. Whilst here, our Assistant Director of Nursing & Theatre Manager Ita Daly was presented with a DAISY Life Time Achievement Award.
 
Recipients of this prestigious award are nominated for their dedication to nursing through active mentoring, role modelling, advocating on behalf of patients, and promoting the positive image of nursing. Ita has been a nurse for over thirty years and offers a wealth of clinical expertise and strategic insight into providing safe, effective, and compassionate care within the operating department here at The Hermitage Clinic. We are so proud of you Ita.
