What to expect
Before your appointment at Hermitage Clinic, we may ask that you stop taking certain medications.
During your visit, we'll take a very detailed clinical history. This will help us match your symptoms to possible allergy symptoms.
We may also do a skin prick test. This test measures your response to a number of known allergens, including grass pollen, dust mites and various foods. You'll have results within 20 minutes.
Sometimes we need to do a patch test. This means we apply suspected allergens to the skin on your back using protective tape. We remove the tape 48 hours later and review results on that day, as well as 2-5 days later.

If you do not have health insurance or your health plan does not cover the full cost, you will need to pay on the day of your visit.
You might be able to claim fees on your insurance.
If you need to submit an insurance excess or pay inpatient fees after a stay at the Hermitage Clinic, you can pay your bill online.
